A large Diamond, a caravan, unlicensed boxing, some Pikey's and a dog are all involved in this exquisite Gangland Movie by Guy Ritchie. Turkish (Jason Statham) and Tommy (Stephen Graham) require a new caravan so they can better promote an unlicensed boxing match for their fighter Gorgeous George (Adam Fogerty), however, things take a nasty turn for the pair when their fighter is knocked out by One punch Mickey (Brad Pitt) as a deal for a caravan turns sour, this renders Gorgeous George unable to fight and Turkish now finds himself owing Gangland boss Brick Top (Alan Ford) more than he would like. Turkish is left with the task of persuading Mickey to replace George in a fight previously scheduled with one of Brick Tops fighters, but the unpredictable Gypsy continues to make things increasingly difficult for Turkish and Tommy.
A sub plot involves a huge stolen Diamond, which brings Doug the Head, Franky Four Fingers, Boris the Blade and Bullet Tooth Tony into the mix, as different factions try to get their hands on the 86 carat stone. At one stage a couple of local fences get hold of the Diamond in a bungled robbery on one of Brick Tops Betting Shops and now the plots seemlessly merge in a violent and often hilarious manner.
Score
The music was composed by John Murphy who does a good job at matching the pace and feel of the movie. The thing that most impresses me about this soundtrack is just how subtle it is. For the purposes of this review I skimmed through the movie in sections and was amazed at just how much the music seamlessly carries the images along and often without the viewer even realising there is music in the background.

Conclusion
This film is a rare treat, the violence is perfectly balanced out by some extremely well timed humour. The cast performs flawlessly, and the story, whilst sometimes complicated, flows effortlessly to an explosive conclusion. If you like Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels then I would suggest you will not go wrong with Snatch.
The amount and quality of extras on this disc simply add to an already excellent Movie, this is certainly one of my favorite Films of this Genre!
