This film is about the story of Helen of Troy (Diane Kruger). She is the Queen of Sparta and the wife of King Menalaus (Brendan Gleeson). The kingdom of Sparta is visited by the two princes of Troy, Hector (Eric Bana) and Paris (Orlando Bloom), who are on a peace mission when Paris falls in love with Helen and they both leave for Troy. This creates a conflict between the two kingdoms and King Menalaus with his brother King Agamemnon (Brian Cox) unite a huge army to start a war with Troy.
Achilles (Brad Pitt) is Agamemnon's best warrior, he is the son of a Goddess and an immortal man who loves fighting wars for the glory.

This film is an account of bloody warfare, great adventures and passionate romances between Paris and Helen, Hector and his wife Andromache (Saffron Burrows) and Briseis the captured priestess (Rose Byrne) and Achilles.

Conclusion
I think that Troy is visually stunning with both the cinematography and computer graphics, I especially enjoyed the battle scenes. But I personally think the best thing about Troy is the handsome cast, Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom and Eric Bana. While for the men you have Diane Kruger, Rose Byrne and Saffron Burrows.
Overall Troy has it all, heroism, romance and action that makes the film into a classic epic that is sure to delight audiences in years to come.
